Who we are
A mission-aligned fiscal sponsor built for the next generation of social impact ventures.
GDI Solutions is a 501(c)(3) controlled by the Global Development Incubator (GDI), established to facilitate the flow of funds from donors to high-impact development initiatives. We focus on localizing development and supporting organizations in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). What makes us different is our commitment to your initiative's mission. We carefully select initiatives for potential impact at scale, and we commit ourselves to their success as we join alongside them.
Global reach, local focus
Active in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe, and the US, with a focus on LMIC-based organizations.
Lean, agile partnership
Dedicated team with minimal bureaucracy and deep compliance expertise.
501(c)(3) infrastructure
Immediate access to US nonprofit status enabling tax-deductible donor contributions.
Network access
Inclusion in GDIS’ growing portfolio across climate, health, agriculture, and migration.
Our Services
Model A: Comprehensive Fiscal Sponsorship
Full operational hosting within the GDI Solutions legal entity. Ideal for mid-stage initiatives seeking a mission-aligned partner for finance, HR, compliance, and operations. (Fee: 10% of all donor funding received)
Model C: Pre-Approved Grant Relationship
Regranting to locally-led, high-impact organizations in LMICs and to other organizations that do not have 501(c)(3) status, enabling access to US-based philanthropy. GDI Solutions envisions its role as a temporary bridge until organizations can receive donor funding directly. (Fee: 5% of each subaward payment)
